BOLTON INCARCERATED IN OKLAHOMA JAIL, AWAITING TRIAL


Update: State of Oklahoma V Kathrin Bolton, Case Number: CF-2023-46


On June 4, 2025 an article was released titled: KATHERIN DARLENE BOULTON (BOLTON), FUGITIVE AT LARGE. Since the release of this article, or on, or about August 13, 2025 (BOLTON) lawyered up and turned herself in to authorities in Oklahoma. BOLTON is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial with a current bond of $50,000. 


It’s also reported, BOLTON’S lawyer is identified, via court documents as Tony Coleman; THE COLEMAN LAW FIRM, 101 Park Avenue, Suite 300, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73102. Prior to August 14, 2025 BOLTON’S attorney filed a Motion To Reconsider, i.e., reinstating the original plea agreement BOLTON walked away from when she failed to appear in court, on a prior date. BOLTON’S failure to appear (FTA) triggered the issuance of a bench warrant, by the Judge. On August 14, 2025, in The District Court of McCurtain County, State of Oklahoma, the Honorable Judge issued an order DENYING BOLTON’S MOTION TO RECONSIDER AND ORDER SETTING JURY TRIAL


More specifically, the judges Motion and Order specifically states: “The State has contacted the alleged victims in this case, and they object to the negotiated plea offer. The court is unwilling to accept the negotiated plea. The court reinstates the Defendants Jury Trial. The attorneys must mutually exchange discovery pursuant to 22 O.S. 2002. All motions must be filed by September 25, 2025, unless there is another statutory deadline. This case is set for pre-trial hearings on October 2, 2025 at 9:30 am. The court will hear all Motions on that day. The parties shall cause to appear any necessary witness(es) to present or defend Motions. Jury trial is set the term beginning October 14. 2025.”
