- In 1998, Rick expanded his entrepreneurship to include a Stock Horese (Reined Cow Horse) division of the WRC; WIND RIVER STOCK HORSES. Rick received his professional training @ the prestigious Greg Ward Ranch, Tulare, California.
- DUAL TRAIN, NIC CHEX, and DUALIN OAK were the first Stock Horses purchased, from the Ward Ranch, and are the foundation Reined Cow Horses of the WIND RIVER STOCK HORSES legacy. DUAL TRAIN and NIC CHEX earned NRCHA Superior Titles and DUALIN OAK is a sire of Champions, an ACHA World Show 3 Thousand Novice Horse Open Cutting Horse Finalist and the 2004 LQHA State Open Jr. Cutting Champion.
- Since inception, WIND RIVER STOCK HORSES is Louisiana's FIRST and LEADING Stock Horse - breeding, training, exhibition, and sales facility.
